Enemies of the Sonnet Man-The Muse (Part Three)
Like a tree, The Muse had been planted firm,
Which was why her presence was so unique,
And was why her enjoyment was long term,
Since her shade was exactly what one seeks.
She would not be allowed to take a fall,
Because she had earned the right to be there.
Like a tree, she stood confident and tall
On any ground that she chose to declare.
She was capable of standing alone,
Because she was created with strong roots.
Like a tree, whose essence had been well known,
And had been destined to bring forth good fruit.
Therefore, the sight of The Muse did please me,
Because she was beautiful, like a tree.
