Encircling Light

Winter wind returns Once again, the cold air churns Inside the woodstove fire burns Winter can be long Holding onto a bird’s song, Helps stay uplifting and strong Ice lays where tears wept From icicles, cold has kept Hanging through the night I slept Morning is now bright Sun enhancing all the white Encircling me with light Heidi Sands 2/8/21
