Embrace The Lines
Vitality marks gently stretch your soft skin beyond the wildest dreams of
beauty unbound where children had once or thrice embraced your womb
the soothing waters cushioning and cradling three miracles three water
marks engraved in cinnamon bark showing in pride the seeds of nature
the lines of life of growth’s concentric eccentric
ripples from within
No chemicals injected into layers of dishonesty no frozen grimaced smiles
just lines of laughter joy the many moments engraved for everyone to see
a frown here and there imprinted on the forehead the ancestry of painted
oscillating craft of body art emanating embellishing the wrinkled showering
of lines of unadulterated tapestry of what once was and
will surpass what is
Life’s written history anticipation intuition display of thoughts emotions feeling
a scar every now so often some scratched in anger where gloom had written
on the surface incisive razors cried for help and closure for the pain and torrent
found expression in the muted screams for understanding empathy and love
the lines a monument of sadness and of conquering
skin hanging by a thread
Fault lines re-administer walk a tight rope and garlands of the smaller picture
the bigger context concept of the margins of society Peoples diagonals and bottom scrapings through in the undergrowth of human living horizons cast in hunger malnourished skeletons hobbling in the ruins scribed by shrapnel fire war in line with greed and exploitation lining pockets unshared market’s shares
Demarcation written in the sand and soil in mine fields trenches and assault rape and pillage in the name of one God or another Goddess Money Demon employed against all will of reason dignity compassion kindness with humankind addicted to the rapture of destruction fuelled by the need for just another kill not unlike the lines of fine white powder snorted and demanding increases of more
Facades and masquerades denial mascara shadowed eyes and anti wrinkle creams and potions fill some lines and cracks on skins and faces where some other lines are crossed and nailed to coffins of enforcement power degradation ashes from sachets of explosive arrogance and ignorance hypocrisy morals sold to the highest bidder he or she who sets the tallest lowest target line of cruel linear demise
Some lineage of common sense and philosophy may question how your loved and
loving wrinkles laughter lines and stretch marks un-boob-jobbed bosoms your smile and un-tucked tummy’s delirious desire for nature normality and honesty of age and gracing time mind body soul without the cover ups of fake cosmetic manufacture line up and down the hierarchy of madness in this world if the comparison does not
Line my thoughts conjectures refutable mixed bag of human error’s aberration in
vain with vanity enlarged and real suffering belittled by comparison proximity
of lines of beauty lived and living life with lime and poppy rows on grave yards
horizontal vertical euphemistic collateral damage thrown in and marked by human deprivation when the smeared salved face and skin would simply be
an innocent line and liner
I can not and will not try to draw in pencil scribe in ink illustrate a straight face and line from rocket launching direct hits annihilating any sense or line of justice from borders frontiers food stamp lines and lines of wretched refugees escaping from one step on mines and lines too far from sharing lines of impact bombs and 'othering' to whether you my love and lover stretches beauty from within without such tragic comic lines
But also and despite some valid refutation or dismissal of my disguised and mocking contravening line of argument of passion and against the grain of veiled enclosure I value your skin just skin on skin my skin and ours and what it holds beneath and under cover above the surface and against all odds and evens skins our two minds in harmony and synchronicity when some line is just one line and cross too far
I like it that you embrace your lines and love the curvaceous rhapsody of your untarnished body and I like to embrace them just as much as you cuddle mine and how we mingle our minds with serious serenity in sadness exuberance and holding still when some and not so few companions on this planet have seemed to loose all plots of measure ethics virtue and shed and torture lines disguise
In criminal neglect the naked face and truths the overwhelming evidence of
distraction from what really matters in a world where some of us are not privileged enough to simply save their skin and remain for just a life time on this side of engraving marks and human lines into their right not plight of giving home and womb survival reproduction if the lines of reason and compassion could be lined
