Embrace the Line

A vivid scarlet scar snakes across her abdomen …
It was touch and go when she went into premature labour
Such a small price to pay for the safe delivery of her tiny baby son

Powerfully written emphasizing the importance of how altering one's perception can effect positive change, especially of oneself, which is where all change begins. Beautiful title, Beautiful write! blessings, lynn

This was my idea, not specifically, but the line I was considering. I have yet to write anything for contest. Yours certainly packs an emotional punch one cannot blink away. Great job and good luck in ALL things ... CayCay

I agree with you Jo thankfully I didn't need a cesarean but they can save lives of both mother and child

You have given a new color to abdomen scars dear friend. The scars come and often go but the gift of a child may become a boon for the mother, if her son would care for her when she would need that care and love.
