 exculpates   us  of sins.


 Evidence  of  tameness,


 Exhausted   to   our   ends;


 exploited   as   transport.  


 Evinces  a paradox!

Sunita, I love that you paid reverence to Lord Ganesha in this wonderful Pleiades. Wish I had thought to do that. Your poem is very well written and it is better than mine in my opinion. Congratulations on your placement! 7 ; )

Thanks for such honest words, I'm honored. Frankly, I'm not deceived with what I was offered even if it has been so many NAs by now. I write mostly to share and the contests give me food for thoughts. I had never even dreamed of writing poetry along these lines. I leave the details of judging to the sponsor/judge(s) as at times I accept there a grammatical mistake somewhere that I ignored and correct after the contest. Some sponsor ignore this but some as the rule is, do not. Your poem deserves its applaud. Congrats for being such versatile and skillful writer. Wish to learn from you. :) All the best.Thanks.

oh thanks for the side note on Ganesh. It was very helpful. Great job, Sunita. And guess what? My mom collects elephants and I got in the mail today a ruby glass elephant I purchased just for her at Christmas time. Even my husband was impressed by it!!

I think even if not linked with belief, elephants are so loving with the long nose and cute eyes that they are adored by kids and adults as well just like dinosaurs and dragons. Good choice! Thanks for sharing this Andrea! :)
