Election Over

They battled like
     wolves
       in
       a
     forest
But the dust has
    settled
Personally , I see
   dark days ahead
  for our homeland
However, let us pray
    for the best
Angry protestors
  now fill our streets
I have been to protest in my life
Now I will pick up my pen
   I. Matthew Anish
send out this ode to all of you
out there in the darkness

Hi Matthew, a thoughtful piece of writing, I hope things fall into a good perspective for your country, all the best.'

oh yes, I am in that darkness. I was filled with such dread on hearing that Trump was winning. I fear the dark days ahead but all we can do is live with hope, Matt. (was it interesting to see the protesters? I may have joined them if they were in my street!)
