Egg Nog

Some say Egg Nog, will warm the night, and make you happy, if it's spiked just right. Maybe this Christmas, I will give it a try, to help rid the depression, and keep my season bright.

Great write. My husbands grandmother introduced me to egg nog with peach schnapps. Enjoyed this. I hope your "season is bright" either way. Love Robin

I never used to like eggnog, but I'm starting to learn to enjoy it, especially if it's "spiked just right". I found some Pumpkin eggnog at the store that's especially good. I hope they'll keep it stocked through Christmas! Very cute poem! ~Juliane

Christy my aunt used to make homade egg nog and all of the adults dipped theirs from a "different" bowl. On a visit when I was 21 I realised with glee that I too could dip from the magical bowl with the adults. I felt soo grown up and took a large swig and smiled hugely then snuck to the bathroom to deposit it into the toilet. OMGosh why would anyone do that to defenseless nog, lol. Laurie
