Edifying Autumn

Summer fades as thunder clouds roll in, Darkened skies hold lightning bolts within. Autumn rain shares laughter with the din. As splashes of hues become akin, A race in which the sturdy will win. Leaves dance and twirl like the ladies spin. I’m so inspired to write again With my poet’s heart that dwells within. © 2013 Connie Marcum Wong

Connie, may your sweet heart always be inspired to write by the beauty of nature. You are such a good friend who truly embodies the notion of poetry being the art of the heart's inspiration!
