Edge of Night

                                        Quote by _Rumi

I went for a walk at twilight, that magic hour on the edge of night.  When the sky is melting
into a sea of color.  A blazing inferno descending.  Vibrant red, orange, gold, purple hues,
and darkening blue, streaking and mingling. Clouds filmy grey drift waiting to welcome the
moon.  But not yet, please, let me linger in the beauty . . . 

the trees are shadows
swaying in tranquility-
serene sounds peaceful

Inspired with reflection and contemplation.  I am full of solace and peace filling me with
euphoria.  Oh, to become part of the painting in the sky that is melting into the earth bathing
the trees in golden hues.  And then, the sun falls into the horizon  and the sky is a dark blue
tint, till a explosion of stars surround the moon . . .

 the edge of night drops
so beautifully quiet-
diamonds that twinkle
