Notes About The Poem

Echoes

Lofty mountains chilled winds, ravines below,
Hotel, fountains and lanes covered with snow

I wanted to shout loud to every peak,
What would I give if I could hear you speak?

My lonely cry, Come see, Come back to me.
The mountain peaks replied, "to me, come see."

Avalanche fell down on frozen rivers,
That was her reply that brought me shivers.

Fool! What could I expect from her essence?
Let her enjoy peaceful iridescence.

Sometimes in our frustration we call aloud our beloved who is not around especially when we stand alone on a lofty mountain, expecting to get a reply.... but our words come back to us as echoes. It is sad...I see that you are placed first. Congratulations dear friend !

As much as we desire it we can’t bring lost ones back, but talk to them when your lonely, somehow in the silence they answer back. Well written Victor… Belle
