Echoed voices from distant shores They sound the same as mine and yours The languages differ, a different tone From distant shores we speak our own Echoed voices across the seas Hitching rides amongst the breeze Speaking words that come to mind Peace be with you, and to all mankind Echoed voices in open air Brothers and sisters cry despair On distant shores we hear their cries Together, we all must rise Echoed voices for peace on earth Loving one another, is what it's worth Voices are heard like mine and yours Our echoed voices from distant shores Favorite Poem Written in June 2018 Poetry Contest Sponsored by Dear Heart a.k.a. Such a lovely poem this is, what we must realize is that despite all our differences, whether religious, social or any other, we all are descendants of Adam and Eve, with a common ancestor, we all are brother and we should love each other, no matter if one is rich, or the other is poor,or black or white, in God s eyes these things don t matter, something which matters are deeds and love,your poems do have a really beautiful message,
