Ebony Night Sky

Ebony, dark-skinned queen, luminous eyes peer through ethereal sheer veils. Millions of her stellar spies keep celestial watch, as her constellations tell tales dwindling time till the new day rouses the dreaming dawn. She is mistress of mysteries, cloaked in an aura of je ne sais quoi, and blackened satin folds. In the midnight hours she reigns supreme where twilight falls.. her Highness, ebony night skies. The night sky, and aura of mystery, substantiated by 'je ne sais quoi', while satin folds and sheer veils instill an aura of sensuality. The night sky has been very inspiring to you, Susan...what about the daytime sky! ~ Warm regards // paul

Paul, the night sky fills me with wonder and awe and it always has.. but day sky is beautiful to me too as in 'A Day In The Life of a Late Summer Day', 'Fire-Water Dance' and 'Immortal Flame', but now that I look at my list, the night sky does seem to inspire me more :)) Your lovely comments fill me with wonder and awe as well my inspiring friend. Warmest wishes ~Susan

I really love the night sky. It's so beautiful and your words present the sky in such a beautiful way that a picture of the luminous sky comes before my eyes. Really, I liked it very much.

I agree with taai. The stellar spies keeping celestial watch is a stroke of divine inspiration, as is the rest of the poem. Such a delightful read! :)
