Ebony Night Sky
Ebony,
dark-skinned queen,
luminous eyes
peer through
ethereal sheer veils.
Millions of her
stellar spies
keep celestial watch,
as her
constellations
tell tales
dwindling time
till the new day rouses the dreaming dawn.
She is mistress
of mysteries,
cloaked in an aura of
je ne sais quoi,
and blackened satin folds.
In the midnight hours
she reigns supreme
where twilight falls..
her Highness,
ebony night skies.
