Earth Day
It is postulated that planets orbit many a star.
Other ones are out there, but they are just too far.
Another world may exist, and maybe not.
Let’s keep this one, it’s the only one we’ve got.
Yes, too many of us are inhabiting this earth.
Its riches are diminishing as we are lessening its worth.
Mankind’s use has been surpassing his need.
He has exploited his resources all because of greed.
Let us all conserve and keep the planet’s green.
We will all be better off in a more natural scene.
