James, this is perfect. A 10+. The meter, the words and the 'laugh out loud' ending. I love this. Thanks for all the kind comments you have left recently about my work. I am trying to catch up on reading on the site. So many good poems lately. But this is one of the best limericks I have ever read. It needs to perhaps be submitted somewhere... Good one Jamie line 2 make it Upon and then you have the same syllable count in both lines, line 4 add "and fatigued" line 5 add a sylable ex. I hope that it was...L & L
