Thank you, Bill. I think today may be the actual first of the cool down, but they say it still is going to warm up. Another hurricane headed to Florida. I guess half of Florida's residents will come up to Georgia to stay for a few days until the storm blows over. Sara K

We don't see many lizards in London Sara, although it would be lovely to see.

Dear Sara, How cute! My wife and I just returned to Pennsylvania after a week in South Florida, where we saw many lizards, both small and large. I loved reading your Senryu! Autumn Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Well, Daniel, did the hurricane hit the part of south Florida where you spent a week? How bad was it. Your comments added a special touch. Thanks for the autumn blessings. Sara K

Yes, Tom. I could not get on for a couple of days or part of one day and all the next. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the flooding in the Atlanta area since it is located in Mariette, Ga. Sara K

Well, Paula, I think that lizard was probably a little cold because it was a cooler morning, but he was up at them in a couple of hours. Sara K

Nice. We just visited Ripley's aquarium in Gatlinburg this past week and got a great photo of a lizard and a gecko. Are you in Florida? I've heard geckos abound there

Tom, I think it is actually iguanas that have come to inhabit areas in Florida, but it could be geckos as well. I live in West Central Georgia about 60 miles from Atlanta, but it would probably take close to two hours to get to downtown Atlanta because of traffic. I have seen the lizards fall from trees in Florida on tv when it is cool to cold because they can't handle being cold. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

Ahh, such a clever senryu that describes the atmosphere of early fall! That cosy ambience and sweet chilling essence with coffee-coloured aroma all around ~ a beautiful scene to witness.. Autumn has its own perks too, I guess. Wonderfully crafted, dear Sara! Enjoyed reading this...
