Early Autumn Chill

~

Azure blue October mornings
aromas waft on frosted air
Tapestries of leaves a’ drifting
painted in a fall affair

Pine cones rest a winding pathway
pumpkin pies atop the sill
Scarves are readied by the doorway
for the early Autumn chill

~
