Great eap, Sara. The day before my father died, he kissed my hand, he had done that before. 3 days after he died, I was in bed , laying there awake in such grief, then I felt a kiss on my hand , not imagined but real. It know it was my father letting me know everything was alringt. Love, Lainie

Sara, I do believe that after death, our loved ones sometimes come back to comfort some of the heartbroken ones left behind. I am glad that you had this experience whether it be dream or vision. Enjoyed the poem. (And thanks for reading and commenting on my poetry.) Love to you and your family. Dane Ann

Like the difference between liquid water and frozen Ice. The power of our love essence is the ether particles of spirit, while out bodies are stable dimensions of form of the spirit's particles. The difference between our body and the freedom of the spirit. The freedom of the water(Spirit) of life flows freely. Smile. God(Love) has it all under control. Sincerely, Love, Moses

This is a heart tugging poem, one has to believe that the loved one is in a better place...we grieve for ourselves. Lovely entry to the contest, Sara! ~ Love, Carrie

NIce one, Sara, it reminds me of how I felt when my dog appeared to me in a dream when he (possibly had just) died. Do you think it could really be? He was with other people , I don't know who ever got him. And to this day, i would like to believe it was his spirt seeing me on his way to heaven. LUv, andrea

It may have been a dream, Sara, but I do believe we are free of suffering after death. That thought helps us cope with loss. Very good poem. Love, Carolyn
