Notes About The Poem

For contest sponsored by Mystic Rose Rose

Each Star Has A Pattern All Of It’s Own

A gold sailboat for souls
Each star is marked
The celestial embodiment
Of hazel hope floating
Empowered by heavenly heart
Silvery universal art
Illuminating onyx sky so dark
Read by those inclined to see
More than most humanly possible
A joyful journey to destination
Burning brightly in anticipation of
Of the next destination

Karen, I see this in two different ways. We are the stars or we use the stars to help navigate from place to place in life. I think I prefer the first interpretation. It's a very pleasant and optimistic description, That is a reflection of your kind soul. Something you can't hide! Smiles!!

Yes I feel we are the stars in this poem. But in another one of my poems I ponder what if falling stars are tears from God. Thanks for your encouraging and kind words!
