Each Day
Each day a struggle to survive
Each day a plea to change
Each day I scream
Each day I live with the hurt
Each day I think about crossing over
Each day it's a struggle to breath
Each day this skin so dry
Each day I ponder what lead me here
Each day there are tears in these eyes
Each day my world goes colder
Each day my life seems less simple
Each day this heart beats for forgiveness
Each day this soul begins to burn in flames of resistance
Each day I find strength to continue on
Each day my love grows for me
Each day I am alone
But Each day I continue forth
I challenge Each day to be a better side of me
For you and them
The reasons my days begin.
