Dying Old
Dying Old
Poem
Lionel Derbyshire
On his end
In His bed
Grandpa said
I'm going to close the doors.
He does not want us to be sad
He said of his ending
Darling.. He said
Cook for me a last lick
Of meat, mash and gravy.
He calls ..
Hello
Slowly He says
Mapenzi Wangu
My Love
I love you
The most fabulous life
A man can ever live
Is to have a joyful wife
He crunches her loyal hand..
You are my queen supreme
You are the princess of my heart
Our life was beautiful together
Our hearts born
Beautiful children like gold
Our grandchildren
Have your eyes
Then eveningtide came
GOD is calling
Me home
Go Darling..
Go see Grace
Grandma says
You are my consort companion
For life..
You crown my head.
You look great
Come say helloo
Now and then
And
He closed his eyes ..
Goodbye
Mapenzi Wangu
My Love
I love you
Softly She whispered
After ..
In a wind
The 70 year old bedroom curtain
Fluttered softly..
