Due Debts
At times this beat is so intense
I simply have no good defense
So must I sit and use the pain
To find the words within my brain
That hide with such success
My temper flares once more I'm free
To walk away again
The words were there an hour ago
'twas whilst I mowed the lawn
An ode about the hidden cost
Of freedom to us all
A debt we own responsible
To those who stood and
Understood and paid their dues
It comes as freedom's price to you
To squander if you choose
The only thing that's ever been
The chance to win to use your time
Beholden just to individual trust
'tis all we earn the words return
I'm in a garden once again
Older growing weeding words
