Dry Ocean

Water flows uphill, past Meaningful nothing's gate Washing Happy City’s wall dead Planting gloom in its stead. The land in happy ignorance Dances to sadness' enchanting tunes Dry waters penetrates Calm’s soil Poking with scrawny fingers it's bed so fertile. Finding Joy's seat, takes it Happiness’ bed, rapes her dead Oh! Success' groom, sadness bloom! Mind is gloom, fate is doom! Smiles sails to tearful land Hiding behind cargoes of tears unshed The land bustles with sorrowful activities As dry ocean let loose its murky aromatic waters.

Sort of like my poem in some ways. "Rivers, waterfalls and drought." You expressed the sentiments well albeit in a different way.
