Drop the Reins and Pour Me a Drink

The dog days of summer, certainly here
Every half-hour, another shot of beer
        Too lazy to move
        I’m stuck in a groove
Glad my new car doesn’t need me to steer

Ha, ha. Agreed, Heidi. The car doesn't need me just as much as I don't need it! Thanks, Gershon

Keep smiling, Ilene. A laugh a day keeps the 'blue-meanies' away!

Clever limerick, Gershon. I used to be able to drink beer til I developed acid reflux and had to quit it. Your writing is superior. Shalom :)

Thanks for the encouragement, Regina. Oooh. Acid reflux. Sounds awful. Hope it's never returned, my friend!
