Driver of Victory
Her name meant "Driver of Victory",
and I often wondered about that name -
whether she was meant to lead a team of horses -
but that'd be wrong, for driver's name.
I pondered on long, this "Driver of Victory"...
Thought of it in dentist's rooms
when I was about to feel the drill...
What did it mean, the unsought name?
What did it matter, the "Driver of Victory"?
Why did it go round and round my head?
Drive, drive on, the "Driver of Victory".
One day, I'll know it - a victory won.
