This takes me back to a book I read a long time ago. 'The Drifters' by James Michener. Though I must say, that sometimes we get to worthwhile places when we drift and let the rudder go. Great Haiku. Thank you, Kai

Loving this poem hard, Line because I have spent years TRYING to drift, fighting my Type A idiocy. I used to know how to daydream, and relax, and sleep. Not anymore, my friend. Nice!

I hear you, Caren. I know how it's worth trying till you get to rescue that little inner child.

very nice, LIne. I was rather a drifter in my life. I'll be drifting into the sunset.

Nothing wrong with drifting - can't control life anyways.
