Dreamy

in dreams, I once heard lovely songs
bell-like in tone, they softly pleased.
I thought they didn't quite belong;
perhaps t'was only summer's breeze
combing tall grass, kissing new leaves.
I opened blinds and, all askew,
were tiny faeries spritzing dew.
Among them smiled green leprechauns,
tiny creatures in rainbow hues.
In dreams, I search--like wind they've gone.

Hi Ann, faeries, mermaids, elves and leprecons have been called myths but I truly believe they once existed or perhaps still do. I like to think they still exist and visit our realm from time to time. Cheers my friend :-)

Dear Anne, Thank you for liking this. I think the only people who do are those who wish there were faeries. I wish there were, and mermaids, too :)
