Dreamscape A Two-Verse Triolet A Two-Verse Triolet, An Ekphrastic poem, on viewing the Mona Lisa Da Vinci set the scene, depicted background first. She longed to priss and preen, Da Vinci set the scene. She felt somewhat unclean yet fed a burning thirst. Da Vince set the scene, depicted background first. Her smile bespoke her lust as eyes beheld his moves, betrayed her husband’s trust. Her smile bespoke her lust temptation grew robust as human nature proves. Her smile bespoke her lust as eyes beheld his moves.

Thank you, John. At Lucidity Poetry Retreat last April, we enjoyed a workshop on writing Ekphrastic poetry. We were shown four photos and asked to choose one to write about. I chose a photo of the painting of Mona Lisa. It was my first Ekphrastic poem. Many thanks for the generous rating.
