Dreams of a Good Girl-Collaboration

There was always a magnetic fascination Against my desire to be a good girl And my yearning to be with the bad boys It stirs emotions supernal as every afternoon In the library I would lazily fantasize Of a different life as a celebrated ruffian by your side That it was I who was standing with your arm Around my shoulders. Asked to ride home with you Provokes intoxication like red roses thrown to me My eyes dreamy as we feel deeply compelled To hold hands in the backseat. Steal a kiss The next day, walking the halls to admiring stares. A connection internal as I am able to exalt admiration from all as they see my true nature is unparalleled To their own childish one, kin to emancipation When the bell suddenly rings to signal the days final end, I grab my books, shake my heart free of its longing and secret desires then run to catch the bus 2nd Place written 7-8-2019 Fine Tune This Collaboration contest sponsor: Line Guathier

A fantastic ending to this well-written missive that took me immediately back to ninth grade.
