Dreams - I Just Wish I Could Remember Sometimes

What Was That on My Mind – While You were Snoring

Tonight, when I fall asleep
I know I will dream a thousand dreams
But not that many dreams I dream, will mean anything to you or me

And when I wake up at dawn
Those dreams are virtually lost
As all those voices in my ears, my imagination and the visuals are gone

And all the while I try the best for my brain to rewind
But I can never find a way to replay, even that last minute scrap of film

So, whatever it was on my mind
I don’t think that it will ever recapture
The dreams that I lost last night
Why I was in my sleep apnea

But next time I lay down my head
Something I wish you to know
Is that I should have said all along
I really do love you

And can you please stop snoring!
