Dragons Fire

I Gezelda, goddess of the dragons, bestow upon you, young one, this fire. Use it to warm yourself. never do harm; remember, you are a dragon. Your dragon oath, you mustn’t take lightly; for you were created by the greatest god. Your duty to your people is to keep them safe from wyvern winds. Once Wyvern’s had the power of fire; utilize it rightly, they did not. Dragon-kind was given to Gaia; to dragon-kind, was given fire. Go forth my blessed, dragon-child and slay the wyvern hoards tonight; for they do harm for which, you’re blamed; they will pay for their evil digressions.

The power of fire saved the world in Greek Mythology a Greek god of ancient times handed it to the people of earth, for which he was punished. I loved this poem! Blessings, Jennifer.
