Dr please listen

Dr please listen Dr. please listen, I'm laid up in this bed and I'm wishin', Hopin' for a doc to come with the vision, To gimme pain meds, the ones I've been missin'. But into the wind, man, I been pissin', Layin' here hopin' the docs would listen. They'd rather see me suffer in pain, So I may as well quit, I'm makin' no gain! It pisses you off, knowin' they got the authority, To take away my pain with their superiority. Yet they don't listen, seein' you a minority, Stick together like a sorority. They'll never make me a damn priority! It's time to school ‘em, teach 'em what they need to know, About their own methods, how they slow. Sayin' that, can they handle the truth? Stick 'em in the booth, Let 'em feel the pain, like they left you to do. And don't let 'em choose. We’re the ones in the dark, feeling the strain, Every second’s like a dagger, slicing through the pain. They sit high, lookin' down from their throne, We’re just numbers, faces unknown. But inside this struggle, we rise strong, Voices united, singin’ this song. Let 'em know we won’t fade away, In the shadows, our spirits won't sway. Medication? Nah, keep that loose. You get enough rope, to make a noose, The pain they ignore, a heavy excuse. But hear me now, we won't back down, In this fight, we're takin' the crown. Rise above, show 'em the truth, The power's ours, let's cut 'em loose. And then it’s win or lose, Time to choose!
