Down, But Not Out

I don't have a place to call home, and I don't have a car even though I wish on the first star of the night. I may be down, but I'm not out. I don't have my kids cause they were ripped from my arms, but my love for them goes on without even a pause. I may be down, but I'm not out. I don't have a lot of money even though I work so very hard. But that don't really matter cause I have love in my heart, and love can't be bought. I may be down, but I'm not out. I may not have a lot of material things, and that's ok cause I'm down, but I'm not out!
