This is so excellent. When I read my Pleiades, I shudder and am tempted to delete it. Hugs.

I like this recipe rolled into poetic style, and perhaps dusted with sugar. Your poem is a delicious Pleades

They are my favorite too. Due to high sugar problem, I can't eat it anymore. Nice reminder though.

Love them Valsa, especially those with jam in the middle. I only have them occasionally, trying to be good lol. Good luck in the contest. Tom

Wow!! Those doughnuts look so yummy. Heartburn city for me but I do enjoy one occasionally. Thanks for sharing this one with us. So, they originated in Holland? Sara K

My goshhh and now I'm craving for this divine donut!!! What an impeccable and mouth-watering poem you've crafted for Andrea's contest, dear gorgeous poetess ~ I'm swooning over the ethereal flavours you've described and whilst also describing their history of origin. This is nothing less than FANTASTIC!! "Dipped in sugar syrup and glazed. Dutch immigrants’ popular sweet" Mmmmm the richness here, wowww ~ and it indeed is a celebratory treat for kids, well for everyone, haha. A very clever pleiades and you did an amazing job knitting this, best wishes for the contest ~ sending love and light to you always :)

Doughnuts are indeed a favorite of kids. "Deep fried or bakes, dipped in sugar syrup", am sure people with a sweet tooth would love it, though its not my favorite. How are you doing dear sweet Valsa? Its been a long time since I have been on here. Miss you and all my dear Soup friends. Have a blessed day. ~ Ani

Dear sweet valsa, gosh im trying my best to stay away from doughnuts; on a diet but if only there is such a thing as chocolate diet Hah! You did your pleiades so well, so beautiful word weaving throughout and i love also “ Dipped in sugar syrup and glazed. Dutch immigrants’ popular sweet.“ the mentioned of dutch there was insightful: and also i love how you’ve written dipped in sugar syrup! Favorite yes for kids and many; like me too. Absolutely stunning and delicious write! Made me crave doughnuts: best wishes. Sending you light always
