Stark
Small spark.
Flames ignite.
Fire now burns bright.
Smoke choking the air.
Breeze fans blaze, everywhere.
Soaring temperatures pall.
Crackling as branches snap and fall.
Animals whimper, they watch it grow.
Smoke billows, acrid smell, this inferno.
Blinding smoke, darkened sky, see it billow.
Crimson hot flames reach skyward, they glow.
Conditions, make it hard to breathe.
Blazing trees will wilt and seethe.
Moving flames on the run.
They’re blocking the sun.
Fear on the road
All hopes slowed.
Tears flow.
Woe.
