Your poems are incredibly deep Richard and rich in meaning. 1st line I understood, 2nd line new to me, but meaning perhaps a little like the first, but not welcoming, but 3rd line is offering someone the chance to seek their future with you - that is how I interpret it. Hugs, Jennifer.

Have not heard the reference "slams open", but I have done it a few times. Like it Richard, one to think about. A good thing, to find your door.
