Dear David I really love this quote! I read it earlier and wanted to return to comment on it and here i am now! This one hits deep for me on so many levels and is a very creative take! The second line especially hits deep! As i cant find a reason and sometimes am left with no rhyme it can be depicted metaphorically too! Pleasure reading you! Congratulations on your placement! Sending you light always

Hey Ink! Thanks for stopping by today with light and wise words, I always try squeeze an extra layer of two into my work, we humans really are one off’s in the grand scheme of things, I truly marvel and despair at our intelligence and what we are doing or not doing with it, cheers David

Read this at 5:40am, then suddenly launched myself into some philosophical game of Mallets Mallet and every time I started drifting back to sleep I thought of something to write down for this contest... I blame you for stirring my brain cells up with this brilliant one lol. I love what you've done here, reading your poetry gives my brain levelling up vibes when it clicks. Unlocking doors (hope that makes sense, I'm a bit tired haha)

To take this one at face value it won’t tell you much Dilly, but put some thought into it, will tell you lots about the contradictory nature of mankind, with a little rhyming paradox to boot, thanks so much for waking up so early, and diving in, I hope this one gets your brain cells working, even though you’re always wired :) cheers David
