Dont Let the Zombies Come!

I have an problem
like a rodent in my house
im infested
by sickness
depression
speaks through my words
heartache
seeps through my pours
i can not live
not like this
i move slow
my feet dragging
the proud stance i one held
gone
disappeared
like a slug i move
no back bone
i walk
the sun shines
but my world is gray
people love
but i just want them to go away
no one wants me
not the light
not the dark
my eyes are dark
circles surround them
from lack of sleep
where am i walking
have i lost my car?
my mind wanders too far
and i appear to be
a zombie
halt!
where is my heart
i feel no beat from within
silence...
my soul no longer speaks
im so weak
by letting this infestation win
i wash away in the rain
i float away in the wind
like nothing
like the nothing i have become
....am i nothing?

Howdy Rain: I was looking over some of your earlier posted poems and noticed this one. It was the title that caught my eye, my nickname (in school) was zombie (by the jocks and in-crowd). Anyway I think that you did an awesome job writing this and I am grateful that you have shared this with the world. Yours truly: Sheol
