Don'T Give Up

It's always darkest before the dawn.
Sometimes you feel so down you think you'd have to reach up to touch bottom.
We all have times like that and it isn't easy to get through it.
At times like this it's all you can do to keep going but that's what you have to do.
Just hang in there and keep on keepin' on.
God Bless,
JB
Stress arrives uninvited,
And comes empty handed too.
It monopolizes all of your time,
And demands all attention from you.
It's a guest that comes and stays too long,
So just don't let him in.
You are the one who stands at the door,
So refuse to open to him.
Instead open up to the blessings,
That can fill your life with joy.
Don't listen to worry, confusion,
That words that discourage employ.
Discouragement, disappointment,
Are mere road blocks impeding your way;
But there's always a way 'round or through it,
Don't give up and you'll win the day.
Lift up your gaze to the future,
And all of the blessings it brings,
For those who persist and continue,
To strive through the winter toward Spring.
