wow this is a very effective poem yoni i loved it the last line was perfect couldnt have been more suitable and pulled the poem together in the perfect ending, it was great i loved it i can relate to it. =)jo

this strikes me in the heart.....to be reborn...spiritually i have been. for i too called out to the great ancient ones and..they heard me at last...believe it or not, though they are called by many names, they are truly one. as one is many, many is one. its just as they say with other things. the first will be the last and the last will be the first. etc etc. i hope they have heard your calling too. xo Raiin

Definitely worth more than one read! Must have taken a lot of planning to present this so artistically. Just wanted to let you know the actual form of "Community Spirit" is a Brevette--three lines noun-verb-noun with the second line with a space between each of the letters. I asked the creator of this form for permission to post the information on it here at The Soup but never got a reply. Thank you for your kind comments. Have a great weekend! Karen

Tabula rasa (Latin: blank slate) refers to the epistemological thesis that individuals are born without built-in mental content and that their knowledge comes from experience and perception.Generally proponents of the tabula rasa thesis favor the "nurture" side of the nature versus nurture debate, when it comes to aspects of one's personality, social and emotional behavior and intelligence....This is only true IF one doesn't believe in reincarnation. As usual Yoni as I focus on the content first and not the form,,,,,for poetry comes from the heart and in general reflect the inner thoughts,,,,,,I am pleased with what you have said! I understand what you mean" don't keep your distance",,,,,,,,,,there is no distance, between the now,,,,,,where God dwells,,,,,,,and time where we dwell,,,,,the now is the centermost part of our own being.
