Don't Close Your Eyes
Don't close your eyes
to opportunities that bloom
like daises in your garden of dreams;
they all glitter like gold...
so seize and take advantage of them all!
Don't close your eyes
to sleep in the pitch-black darkness
because you'll stay blind
to the bright vision of tomorrow.
Keep them open, a guiding light will shine in!
Don't close your eyes.
Keep them wide open so you can
watch your dreams flourish
and watch them bear ripe fruits.
You'll get to harvest those fruits for a lifetime!
Do not close, or blink your eyes
for even a second, because the lens
through which you view life
could smudge before you
Stay awake, do not close your eyes
Keep them open to see
the beauty of life all around you
Keep them wide open to see
the rainbow of possibilities on the horizon
Dream about the future, wide awake!
