Do You Drink Milk
Ancient battles raged, and so it goes in modern days
over who is right or wrong, the fires ignite and blaze.
The blood flows red in your veins, just as they do in mine.
Despite egotistical misguided thinking, no human is divine.
It's not possible to be humble with a mind that is sound
when you have a belly not able to rise above the ground.
Dark side of nature makes a snake strike then slither away,
but those who dwell in the light can keep the dark at bay.
Kindness in the wise reaches down with a helping hand
for they have wisdom to serve others. Do you understand?
If not, I'll explain by making it more simple in black and white.
Don't be misled by words of others who see in dark of night.
Take a closer look at what is ridiculed, those that should not,
before you aim at the innocent with a wounding pistol shot.
Be not hasty to cast aspersions upon the cloven hooved.
A camel's worth is priceless in a desert, it's been proved.
We can't outrun a deer because he travels much too fast,
and if you think sheep are useless, that makes you an ass.
As animals, we were all created as creatures of like ilk.
Do you eat the meat of a bovine? Do you drink their milk?
I'd much rather have cloven hooves than a cloven tongue
and give praises to the worthy ones in songs to be sung.
