Do They Regret the Price They Paid
Loud music screaming in their ears,
tattoos that they put everywhere!
A lifetime spent with fingers typing,
texting with thumbs at lightning speed.
Hours on a computer searching Facebook,
And an iPhone in control of their life!
Electronics were meant to make life easy,
not take over every moment in time!
And now that I’m in my twilight years,
I look around at my peers and I see…
Most are deaf, or losing their hearing,
tattoos are drooping, or just a big blob!
Thumbs that are stiff, they no longer bend;
bad vision from too many computer screens,
and now they can’t pay for their iPhone!
Do they regret the price they paid?
