Don't work for food that spoil; anoint with oil

John 6:27 compares food Jesus offers, versus natural food that spoil. The second part of the above monoku is based in psalm 51. King David sinned against God, he says, when he seduced Uriah's wife, when he was fighting in a war away from home, for King David. David was disciplined by God, but He showed CHESED/ Grace, as David anointed himself with olive oil (symbol of the Holy Spirit) & repented like no one ever (in Hebrew Poetry) did!

David's 51st Psalm is a model for repenting for one's sins & receiving Grace from Holy Trinity. Please, please study Ps. 51. Shalom shalom
