There are far too many firearms available, and they are used recklessly, resulting in daily acts of violence. It might do harm, perhaps even to a completely uninvolved third party. Blessing.

I agree, Sotto. I think if a sane man wants a few guns to hunt or to protect his family that is fine, but too many are owned or gotten by people who are not mentally, emotionally or mature enough to have that in their possession. Thanks for dropping by with your kind review and blessings. Sara

A gun to a blind man....indeed dangerous ! He needn't be without eyesight, but could be blind to some ideology or obdurately fanatic. Great monoku !

Gershon, I totally agree with you especially if the last person who owned the parachute is dead. Those hip replacements can be painful and deadly as well even under the best of circumstances. Thanks for your humorous addition to my comments. You have character. Sara K

Victor, I do agree. Over here in the larger cities, there is gun violence nearly every night but especially on the week end. Those who are firing those weapons that fire multiple rounds in a few seconds are like a blind person letting the bullets go where they may. Thanks for the nice review of my work. Sara

Woah, I agree with Ink Empress! As soon as I read this quote it made me feel that it has many interpretations but the first one that came to my mind is, never ever give your deepest information or share your vulnerability with those who are blind towards your emotions.. This is a really wise one dear Sara! A blind person can also reflect a person who's not in control of his life or has a blur vision of whichever path he or she is choosing.. Full of uncertainty.. Absolutely love this quote!

Yes, Hiya, this can be interpreted in several ways. I was thinking about physical blindness when the thought came to me, but then also to emotional blindness when I put it on paper then in so many ways it can go. Thanks for dropping by and the interesting review of my work. I totally agree about giving out your deepest emotions to someone who has no respect for his/her fellowman. Sara

This is a very deep quote here youve written, true, i interpreted it in many ways, some important information or somethings that are crucial should not be shared with some who are blind, and to give a gun to a blind is a risk one must not take. I think ive thought about this on a very deep note hah! However! Enjoyed reading this

Thank you, IE, for thinking a bit deeper. I have in the past been friends with a lady who was blind. She wanted to try so many things like she said she would like to experience driving. I told her she needed to go to Six Flags and ride in their antique car ride where she would get the feel of driving without the danger. She never said she wanted to try shooting a gun, but there is always that chance someone blind would want to try. Sara

TS, I totally understand your review. It does seem redundant but sometimes we are blind to what is right in front of us. As a parent and grandparent, we would not let a mentally ill child or grandchild have a gun, but they can slip around and get them behind our backs and still use them without our knowing that they have them in their possession. So many times, that is how someone goes on a killing spree when they have mental problems. Sara

Anne-Lise, Well, people are going to carry weapons if there is any way they can get them and if they are made illegal then only criminals will have them and they will get them somehow or someway. Thanks for dropping by ..Sara
