DIVORCE

Deliver onto me the strength to carry on my Lord and don't let me fail

I love my family and I don't want to see them suffer on account of me

Veer me towards truth and honesty, allow me to be part of a greater plan

Only you Father have the ability to heal my soul and ease my heart, so please

Remind me every day to do my very best for it is only in the letting go that

Closure can finally bring the peace I so much need. I am like a wounded

Eagle flying towards gateways of a stranger's land so please, help me cope.

Congrats placing 11th out of 49 entries! I loved this message of hope, and the spiritual aura surrounding it. Great job!

Ahh, this is such an evocative and heartfelt take for the contest, dear Rose.. It's a really complex situation when two souls part ways, especially when family is involved. Sigh, you've so impeccably described the emotions of such a delicate situation in a soul-touching way! Sending light, this is beautifully weaved..

Thanks for reading and taking time to share with me your thoughts dear Hiya. No it is never easy to make the decision to go, or stay. Many get wounded when the family dynamics fall apart.

Divorce! The wonder word. I don't know anyone of the older crowd, who did it, and did not come to regret it. If one hung in there long enough for the children's sake...they can now try to learn to unconditionally love each other. Never too old to learn. Blessings.

I agree nowadays people give up too easy, sometimes pride and ego get in the way, other times, it was never meant to be, still, never an easy decision to stay or go, thanks for reading Joe, :)

It's always sad when couples divorce but if the relationship has gone toxic it's for the best. Its sad though when children are involved. Tom
