Very True. Yet when circumstances get horrible, no option is left and children become victims. Love.

A painful acrostic. Yes, everyone suffers from divorce, but sometimes healing happens best from the tear. Children want a happy and safe place even if it's not in one home. Sometimes, divorce is a chance to grow and shelter those you love with a single root.

nicely done, jan! an old friend told me that when her parents divorced, she and her brother (they were both young kids) had to appear in front of a judge and choose which parent they wanted to live with. she chose her dad and her brother picked her mom so the kids were split up. her mother never forgave her. hard to believe that was handled that way!
