Divine Sunshine
When it’s miserable and dreary
Cold, dark, cloudy and rainy
Seems liquid desolation is unfurled
Along with all the weight of the world
A void grows exponentially with morningtide
As I wither in torment from endless rain outside
And that’s when I need most to turn within
To the inward deepest source of my chagrin
I forage for the slightest flicker
Any flame to dissipate the blurr
A candle lit to give at least a little ray of hope
To help find my lost wondrous kaleidoscope
I ache when I miss the golden rays of sun
That most magical primal phenomenon
That link to what’s utterly divine
I so wish I’d been given a name like SunShine
**A wink to my lovely PS friend SunShine
