Divine Alignment
Midst “incongruence” inevitable
between dictates of mind and beats of heart
personhood’s wholeness from the very start---
that’s my plea through the Saviour Who’s able.
When visited by worries bringing doubt
letting me leave blest path of redeemed soul
swerving from divine light for faith-propped goal---
I seek the Lord’s direction to right route.
Struggling against my own carnal nature
tempting flesh to yield for cravings’ greed
drawing me far from grace that had me freed---
to Christ I cling for spiritual nurture.
Due to sins, I fell short of God’s glory
yet He offered love’s pardon with peace-reign
now, I own eternal life with bliss’ gain---
since ransomed toward heaven’s victory.
To have inner alignment with joy’s aim
I trust* HIM; conscience cleanser, so perfect
leading me to truth’s best of no defect---
grateful, I serve while His goodness proclaim.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
