Divided Ash

I whisper in a hush... "your silence transcends me" ----- yet my kindle is breaking into shattered remorse, the tides crash into broken pebbles as the cascade of the reverie resounds my aching spine. "Burnt barren branches fall, for I am ready for the call- I cannot reach the distance of leaving without resistance." Scattered across the horizon is pieces of me. Tiny shards of an aria of a melody deepening my fever. I know not the memories I used to know... only old days of abusive quivering. I drown in an ocean of distorted and stale regret, solitude bleeds from an intravenous pin prick, a high I can't reach with opium induced freedom. "I shall never reach the blazing mount, drinking from the burning fount- there's ebon blood in my veins… UNTIL ONLY DIVIDED ASH REMAINS." May 9, 2018

This is intense and heart-wrenching, Luloo, and brings some very dark memories back to me, (in different context) ... but also much beauty. Blessings.

Beautiful, dark, and mysterious, too.
