Distant Shores - Rhyming Wave Poetry

I wait, on a far distant shore a distant, distant, distant shore hopes dependent on flames that soar hopes my rescue they'll aid Or the S O S will me save, hope will me, will me, will me save! l see a ship it flashed a wave I could not ask for more! It was a ship, a ship of war, A ship of, ship of, ship of war! They saw my flame and came ashore. Rescued, I wait no more! I wait, on a far distant shore. Rescued I wait no more!

The Rhyming Wave is a poetry form created by Katharine L. Sparrow, American writer and poet who writes on Allpoetry.com. A link to the guidelines http://poetscollective.org/poetryforms/rhyming-wave/ A confession, I haven't always, if at all gone with the iambic meter, but I'm trying. Thanks for your congratulations, Mick
